The Green Pin Tycan® Ratchet Loadbinder GR10 (P-7180) is a Grade 10 ratchet-type loadbinder without hooks, designed for use with GP-Tycan fibre chain (15 x 25 and 13 x 30 sizes) in load securing and lashing applications.
Lashing capacity: 16 tonnes, suitable for substantial cargo securing requirements on transport and industrial applications.
What a ratchet loadbinder does: A loadbinder is used to tension chain or synthetic lashing during cargo securing, taking up slack and applying controlled tension to keep a load firmly secured during transport. The ratchet mechanism allows precise, controlled tightening and safe release, compared to older lever-type binders which can release tension suddenly if not handled correctly.
Why fibre chain compatibility matters: GP-Tycan fibre chain is a synthetic alternative to steel chain, offering weight savings and different handling characteristics — this loadbinder is specifically designed to work correctly with that system rather than being a generic steel-chain binder adapted for the purpose.
