Polyester Slings
Sling Force’s Polyester Webbing Slings are flat, duplex-construction lifting slings manufactured in-house at our Ismailia facility from 100% high-tenacity polyester yarn. Polyester is the industry-standard webbing sling material thanks to its low stretch under load (typically 3-4% at rated capacity), high resistance to abrasion and most chemicals, and excellent UV stability compared to nylon.
Working Load Limit range: 1 to 10 tonnes (straight lift, 0°), with a 7:1 safety factor on every sling.
Standard: Manufactured and tested to EN 1492-1, the European standard for textile flat woven webbing slings.
Common applications: General industrial lifting, construction site rigging, machinery installation, and any load where surface protection matters — polyester webbing won’t mark or scratch delicate, coated, or machined surfaces the way chain or wire rope can.
Available sizes: Webbing widths from 30mm to 300mm depending on capacity, in standard lengths from 1m to 10m, with custom lengths and ply configurations available to order. Each capacity is colour-coded per EN 1492-1 for quick visual WLL identification on site.
Manufacturing: Produced by Sling Force at our own facility in Ismailia, Egypt, under strict quality control from raw material selection through cutting, stitching, and final inspection.
