Description
The Green Pin® Heavy Duty Bow Shackle FN (P-6016) is a high-capacity bow shackle fitted with a safety bolt and fixed nut, engineered for the heaviest rigging and lifting applications where a standard shackle range doesn’t reach the required Working Load Limit.
Working Load Limits: Available in 120 t and 150 t capacities, positioning this shackle firmly in the heavy industrial and offshore lifting category.
Construction: The bow shape provides a wider load-bearing area than a dee shackle, allowing it to accept multiple sling legs or a wider range of connection angles without side-loading concerns. The fixed-nut (FN) bolt-type pin, secured with a cotter pin, provides a secure connection appropriate for heavy or long-duration lifts.
Typical applications: Heavy industrial lifting, offshore rigging, structural installation, and multi-leg sling assemblies requiring a very high Working Load Limit connection point.
Standard: Manufactured to EN 13889 with full proof-load testing and material certification.
