Bridon Marblue® IWRC / PolyCore is a wire rope construction from Bridon’s Marblue® range, engineered for marine and fishing applications where corrosion resistance and reliable performance in continuous wet, saltwater conditions are essential.
IWRC vs PolyCore core options: This rope is available with either an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), which offers higher strength and crush resistance, or a PolyCore (synthetic) core, which offers greater flexibility and can provide additional corrosion protection to the rope’s interior — the right choice depends on the specific vessel, winch, and application requirements.
Typical applications: Commercial fishing vessel winches and trawl gear, marine towing and mooring, and other marine applications where the rope is in constant or frequent contact with seawater.
