Sling Force supplies Green Pin® wire rope clips (also known as wire rope clamps or grips), used to form eyes and secure terminations in steel wire rope in the field, where a pressed or spliced termination isn’t practical.
Working Load Limit: Dependent on wire rope diameter and the number of clips correctly fitted — as a guide, most applications require 3 to 5 clips per termination depending on rope diameter, fitted per the manufacturer’s torque and spacing specification.
Standard: Available in both DIN 741 (standard/malleable) and US Federal Specification (ASME-compatible) types, to suit wire rope sourced to either European or American standards.
Common applications: Field termination of wire rope slings and guy wires, temporary rigging assemblies, and any application requiring an adjustable, re-usable wire rope eye termination.
Available sizes: Sized to match standard wire rope diameters from small-diameter cable through heavy rigging rope.
