The Green Pin® Lifting Clamp V-type (P-6615) is a plate clamp designed specifically for vertical transportation of steel plates — commonly used to lift a plate from a horizontal stack and move it into a vertical position, or to transport plates already standing on edge.
Working Load Limit range: 0.75 t up to 20 t, covering light plate handling through to heavy structural steel sections.
How it works: The clamp grips the plate edge using a cam-and-jaw mechanism that tightens its hold as load is applied, a standard safety principle in plate clamp design. The V-type’s jaw geometry is specifically suited to the loading angles involved in vertical plate handling.
