Description
The Green Pin® Master Link S/S-GR5 (MSI) is a Grade 5 stainless steel master link engineered for use in corrosive marine and coastal environments, where standard carbon steel rigging hardware would corrode too quickly for reliable long-term service.
Working Load Limit range: 1 t up to 5 t, covering light to moderate rigging assembly requirements.
What a master link does: A master link sits at the top of a multi-leg chain or wire rope sling assembly, providing a single, strong attachment point that connects to the crane hook while distributing load evenly across the sling legs below it.
Why stainless steel matters here: Grade 5 stainless steel offers substantially better corrosion resistance than standard carbon steel, making this master link suitable for marine, offshore, food-grade, or other environments where rust and corrosion would otherwise shorten the working life of rigging hardware or introduce contamination risk.
Typical applications: Marine and offshore rigging assemblies, coastal industrial facilities, and any application where corrosion resistance is a priority over standard carbon steel hardware.
Standard: Manufactured with full proof-load testing and material certification.
Sling Force supplies the full Green Pin® stainless steel hardware range. Contact us with your required Working Load Limit for a quotation.
