The Bridon® 50DB Series Wire Rope is a compacted, rotation-resistant crane rope engineered specifically for applications where limited lifting height and rope rotation control are critical design factors. Rotation-resistant construction means this rope resists spinning under load — an essential characteristic for single-part crane hoisting where an uncontrolled rotating load can create serious safety hazards for crews working below or nearby.

Construction: Multi-layer rotation-resistant design, where outer and inner strand layers are laid in opposing directions so that the torque generated by each layer counteracts the other, dramatically reducing the rope’s tendency to rotate or spin a suspended load compared to standard 6-strand construction.
