Description

The Green Pin® Heavy Duty Dee Shackle FN (P-6018) is a Grade 8 high-capacity dee (chain) shackle fitted with a safety bolt and fixed nut, engineered for the heaviest rigging applications where a very high Working Load Limit is required.

Working Load Limit: 120 tonnes, placing this shackle in the heavy industrial and offshore lifting category.

Construction: Dee (chain) shackles have straight, parallel sides rather than the wider bow shape of a bow shackle, making them well suited to in-line pulling and lifting where side-loading isn’t a factor. The fixed-nut (FN) bolt-type pin provides a secure, vibration-resistant connection appropriate for heavy or long-duration lifts, secured with a cotter pin to prevent the nut from loosening in service.

Grade 8 material: Manufactured from Grade 8 steel, offering higher strength-to-weight performance than standard Grade 6 shackle material, which is why shackles at this capacity are commonly specified in Grade 8.

Typical applications: Heavy industrial lifting, offshore rigging, structural installation, and any application requiring a very high Working Load Limit dee shackle with a secure bolted connection.
