Description

The Green Pin® Lifting Clamp H-type (P-6635) is a plate clamp designed for horizontal transportation of steel plates and similar flat stock, allowing a single plate or stack of plates to be lifted and moved safely using a crane.

How it works: The clamp grips the edge of the plate using a cam-and-jaw mechanism that tightens its hold as load is applied — the greater the load, the more securely the clamp bites onto the plate, which is a standard, well-proven safety principle in plate clamp design.

H-type vs other clamp types: The H-type designation refers to the clamp’s specific jaw geometry and lifting configuration, suited to horizontal plate transport as opposed to vertical lifting clamps (used to lift a plate from a horizontal stack into a vertical position) or specialised beam clamps.
